Additional Positioning Padding Package (APP)

The Additional Positioning Padding (APP) package is a modular seating system made with high specification foam and covered with 4-way stretch, breathable waterproof fabric, The Additional Positioning Padding is a no-maintenance, easy-to-use system that attaches quickly and securely to the Broda wheelchairs.

Designed exclusively to work with Broda’s wheelchairs, the APP package helps optimize individual immersion, alignment and pressure redistribution by working in harmony with our Comfort Tension Seating®.

The Additional Positioning Padding offers enhanced benefits to Broda wheelchairs:

• Improves posture and alignment through additional contouring

• Back support provides mild lumbar and lateral torso support

• Enhances pressure redistribution and comfort through support, immersion, and envelopment

• Seat cushion conforms to bony prominences and offers a firm anterior with a soft rolled edge to reduce stress on the vascular structures behind the knee

• Provides ease of cleaning to help maintain infection control

Huntington’s Special Padding Package (HSP)

Designed for use with Broda’s positioning wheelchairs, the Huntington’s Special Padding (HSP) Package provides enhanced safety and support while helping to prevent patient injury.

The (HSP) Package provides comfortable, stable, protective padding and positioning for patients with severe agitation and involuntary movement.

Designed to support individuals with:

• Huntington’s Disease

• Parkinson’s Disease

• ALS (Lou Gehrig’s Disease)

• Multiple Sclerosis (MS)

• Alzheimer’s / Dementia

• Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder ADHD

The Freedom Bed™

ProBed Medical Technologies Inc. has developed three models of the Freedom Bed TM.

Each model is built on the foundation of the company’s unique, patented, well-proven lateral rotation system. Enhancements to the basic model include a variable height (High-Low) platform, Trendelenburg and Reverse Trendelenburg positioning and a unique air-powered head and leg elevation system that provides extremely comfortable seating while reducing seating pressure.
